Bharat Chauhan New Delhi,The Shiromani Akali Dal today said that activities of Navjot Singh Sidhu in favour of Pakistan has encouraged ISI and Pakistan to launch anti India campaign and they are specially targeting Sikhs to incite them against their own country India.
In a statement issued here today, the SAD National Spokesman and the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that ISI is using the face of Navjot Singh Sidhu who is openly having a hug with the anti India forces on the land of Pakistan and is vigorously trying to justify his such acts. He said that after showing his closeness with the Pakistan army Chief now pictures of Mr. Sidhu have gone viral in which he is seen with Gopal Singh Chawla. He said that Chawla is not only a staunch supporters of terrorists like Hafeez Syeed but also issues his video statements on behalf of Sikhs threatening India.
He said that his such acts are encouraging ISI to step up its campaign against the country. He said that Mr. Sidhu is paid artist and people are surprised on whether he is being paid by Pakistan to use his services in its favor and against India by inciting Sikhs against India. He said that his silence on acts of terrorism of Pakistan against the country and continued encouragement of elements like Chawla and Pakistan army chief were further complicating the situation.
Thanking Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan for supporting initiative of Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narinder Modi on Kartarpur Sahib corridor, Mr. Sirsa said that millions of Sikhs residing in different parts of the world have welcomed the initiative and are looking towards completion of corridor to have a darshan of Gurudwara Kartarpur Sahib.
Mr. Sirsa said that though supporting decision of Pakistan government on Kartarpur Sahib is welcome but presence of anti India elements like Chawla in the function has surprised everyone and people are thinking whether it was pre planned by Pakistan ? He said that Pakistan should desist from playing such mischief on the pious issue of Kartarpur.
The SAD leader said that people are also surprised at the announcement of Mr. Imran Khan on Navjot Sidhu becoming PM of India and his action of raking up Kashmir issue. He said that it is now turn of Rahul Gandhi to speak up his mind on the issue and tell people whether he supports action of Sidhu against India and his promotion by the Pakistan to capture highest post of governance in the country.
He also urged the Punjab Chief Minister to immediately take action against the Punjab Minister for encouraging anti India forces at the foreign land where he himself had refused to go due to actions of Pakistan army against the country particularly Punjab and Kashmir. He said that he should be sacked from the constitutional post without any delay
