Delhi shooters outstanding performance in National Shooting Championship: Jaspal Rana said that sponsors should come forward for shooting

Bharat Chauhan, Bhopal: The 63rd National Shooting Championship came to an end on Saturday in Bhopal, in which the Delhi shooters have won a total of 17 medals, performing well. Shaurya Sarin, Harsh Gupta, Partha Makhija and Arpit Goyal performed well in the individual events.
Padmashree Jaspal Rana, President of Delhi State Rifle Association, congratulated all the medal winners and said that “Our shooters have done well in this competition, Delhi has won 17 medals in this National Shooting Championship. Hopefully the shooters of Delhi will perform better in future, and our team will work together on this. Surely the shooters in Delhi need better facilities and encouragement. We are thankful to Neeraj Ghei, the director of “Select City Walk” who sponsored the sports kits to shooters of Delhi this time. If more such sponsors come to the shooting, hopefully our players will get more encouragement.”
In the 10m Air Pistol Youth event, Shaurya Sarin, Harsh Gupta and Arjun Chillar of Delhi won the bronze, while Pooja Aggarwal won the bronze medal in the 10m Para event.
In the 10 meter air rifle event, Parth Makhija made it to the finals of both the junior and youth categories and managed to win the bronze medal in the 10 meter rifle youth event.
The team of Tarun Yadav, Abhay Goyal and Nishant Malik of Delhi won the bronze medal in the 50 meter rifle prone event.
Arpit Goyal won the bronze medal in the 25m center fire pistol individual event, while Delhi’s Farid Ali, Rajesh Verma and Arpit Goel won the bronze medal in the center fire team event.


In the 25mtr standard pistol event, the Delhi team (Arpit Goel, Farid Ali, Raunak Khattar) won the gold medal. The Junior Civilian team (Shaurya Sarin, Raunak Khattar, Aditya Verma) also won the gold medal. Harsh Gupta won the Bronze Medal of Junior Nationals, while the National Junior Team (Harsh Gupta, Raunak Khattar, Agni Kaushik) won the Bronze Medal. Arpit Goyal won the individual silver medal in the senior men’s category and Shaurya Sarin won the bronze medal in the junior civilian men’s event.

In 50m free pistol: Delhi team (Arpit Goyal, Shaurya Sarin and Anmol Arora) won the gold medal, while Shaurya Sarin won the individual bronze medal in the men’s category and the silver medal in the junior men’s event.
Harsh Gupta won the individual bronze medal in the 25m sport pistol junior event.
Pooja Aggarwal of Delhi won the bronze medal in the 25m pistol para event.
The team of Delhi’s Mahima Singh, Namya Kapoor and Ishika Singh also won a silver medal in the 25m sport pistol junior women’s civilian event.
