Culinary delight this winter NASVI to organize 11th National Street Food Festival in Delhi

Bharat Chauhan New Delhi, Promoting, professionalizing and branding street foods in its own master style, the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) is all set to organize its 11thNational Street Food Festival at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi from 25th to 29th December.
This winter delight set to attract thousands of foodies across India over a span of five
days, will have master street food vendors of different regions of India with their
signature dishes having age old stamps of culinary tradition and culture.
“Organizing street food festivals is a major component of NASVI led street food

advocacy movement as it symbolizes the promotion of the street vendors in our society-
gives them the visibility and the voice.” said Arbind Singh, National Coordinator of

NASVI.
With over one hundred street food stalls, the festival promises a fun-filled 5 day festival
of traditional cuisines and interactive food experiences as well as the live appearances
from the band, Master Chefs and local music groups. These carefully selected items in
the menu will reveal the diverse range of culinary delights available at roadside and
alleys as well as local lanes in every village and city across the country.
The participating vendors have started arriving in the city as they also buck up for their
training prior to the Food Festival on health and hygiene by certified FOSTAC trainer
from NASVI Team.

Delhi. This is a great opportunity for us to be invited to the Food Festival and sell our

local street dishes to all the street food lovers out there. This is empowering for us.” said

NASVI endeavours to build social solidarity with street foodvendors through promoting
econo-culinary (economic and culinary) entrepreneurship of street food vendors, their
exposures and capacity building.
This is a festival curated by the vendors from all corners of India who serve their magic
in the plates!
The festival begins this Wednesday-25th December-29th December, 2019 at JLN Stadium,
