Autism awareness walk and different programs were organized by “The Wings Association for Development”, located at Niti Khand-1 in Indirapuram. At the same time, autistic children also participated in drawing and hand-print competition and some games at “The Wings Learning Center”. Renowned pistol Shooter Farid Ali also participated in this program and inspired people to be aware of autism. Awareness walk was organized through the Indirapuran area, with blue balloons and banner posters in hands.
Farha Saif, ABA & Speech Therapist and director of The Wings Learning Center, told that “Autism is known as mental illness also. Autism Awareness Month is celebrated in April every year. Indeed, autism is a disorder in the development of the mind and the development of brain. A person suffering from autism has been lost in the world unknown to the outside world lives.”
Famous speech therapist Farheen described the signs of autism, “During autism, a person may have many problems, even a person can be mentally handicapped. Autism patients may also have epilepsy visits. Often people with Autism have problems speaking and hearing. When autism is severe, it is known as autistic disorder but when autism is less effective, it is known as autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
The Wings Association Treasurer and Farida says that ”being extremely restless, too much inactive or too much more active. Do any work at the extreme level. These behaviors are not very efficient and in these early childhood, these symptoms start to emerge in such children. To identify autism in children, 18 months to 3 years old is enough.”
