Gyan Parkash ,Annai Amala Trust was set up by S. Jesudass Raja in the Year 1995 the land left by his father . Amala Children’s Home and St. Agnes School had a very humble beginning with just two huts and 30 children. Today it is a modern complex of all kinds of amenities and facilities provided to 137 orphans and educating 485 students . Amala children home provides a safe, secure , stimulating and loving environment for destitute and orphaned children . Girls and Boys are housed separately and provided with three meals a day, clothes, medical assistance and an activities programme. Located next to the school , St Agnes the children are educated by day and enjoy the extracurricular activities in the evenings.

St Agnes School

The ever developing school has 15 Classrooms for three stages of Schools, A library. A School Laboratory, A Nurse.s Surgery, A Computer Suite , 3 School Bus. The School have dedicated teachers who have been here for 15 years .St. Agnes is a Tamil and English medium school.

Amala children’s home

One hundred and thirty seven from the Ammala Children’s Home attend St Agnes schools. Children come to Amala from all sections ,different backgrounds of the society and join in a structured programme after school through which the children learn good discipline, social skills and personal responsibilities.

The School and Children Home have earned a good reputation in the Society.
