Prerit Chauhan New Delhi: The 12th edition of biannually-held India Runway Week was successfully conducted in Delhi. This year Jaivik Nari’s fashion exhibition was dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi as well as ‘Make in India’ initiative and witnessed the participation of leading trendsetters including Meenakshi Mohanty, Chinna Dua, and Vineeta Arora.
The collection particularly emphasized on handcrafted ethnic sarees with all elements contrived as per the Make in India initiative. The exhibition was commenced with Shahritya Nritya performed by renowned actress Neelima Azim.
The ensemble also included Dr. Chitra Dua and Mamta Gupta who added to the glamour with their Tussar-silk- and Linen-clad fashion elements.
