International Conference on Learning 2018 Held in Lady irwin collage Delhi

Bharat chauhan ,Learning for Empowerment”: The Department of Education, Lady Irwin College had organized the teacher Fourth International Conference on Learning from 28-30th September, 2018, accredited by ‘Rehabilitation Council of India’, and ‘National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities’ with the vision to view learning from the perspectives of different stakeholders and identifying elements for success in ‘Learning’. Recognizing the importance of learning as universal and accepting that enhanced our understanding of the world around us, ensuring more opportunities and thereby helping us to improve the quality of life.
Dr. Anupa Siddhu, Director Lady Irwin college, Dr. Renu Malviya, Head of Department of Education, Lady Irwin College and Prof. Namita Ranganathan, Dean &Head, Faculty of Education inaugurated the event which continued to play a pivotal role in a learners life by being the key element in constructing a learning environment, and also provided the platform for every learner to construct knowledge.
More than 150 International and National delegates, academicians, researchers and scholars had participated, contributed and shared their presentation work related to the concept of learning. The programme successfully achieved its aim of empowering the participants and identifying the emerging best practices, issues and challenges in current education system with reference to learning. The conference exquisitely worked towards the seamless acceptance of Inclusive practices and universal design of whole learning and immensely covered the broad themes of technology, disability and psycho-social situation of child as well as the issues related to the education. In the end of the conference, a valedictory speech was given by Dr. Subhod Kumar, Deputy Director, Academics, RCI.
