Arshdeep kaur,New Delhi: An advertisement of Kalyan Jewelers is broadcasting in Electronic
Media which they have shown that Sh Amitabh Bachchan has gone to some bank
and bank employees have not attended him and misbehaved with him. It is not true
and highly objectionable and detrimental to the image of PSU Banks and honest
bank employees has been tarnished through this advertisement.
Whereas banks and bank employees are taking care of all the customers and in
particular Senior Citizen.
National Organisation of Bank Workers (NOBW) has made a complaint to The
Advertisement Standards Council of India and copy to Minister of Finance, Sh
Arun Jaitely and Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Sh
Rajyavardhan Rathore to immediately stop this advertisement on air and Kalyan
Jewelers and Sh Amitabh Bachan should give unconditional apology from bank
employees otherwise we will protest against the Kalyan Jewelers at their
showrooms and its offices across India and initiate appropriate legal action for the
showing the bankers in poor light.
