The story presented here is no other than a dream cherished and lived by Y. Venkat Reddy at CIF in Mahabalipuram, in the State of Tamil Nadu, India . Venkat designed and created CIF using all the skills and knowledge that he had acquired while working as a Journalist in Durgapur for the famous newspaper Burdwan – Durgapur Herald . Then he started working for Jubilee Memorial School , Mokokchung Nagaland as a Senior Teacher the first ICSE School in Nagaland for 8 Years . Then he worked for Mata Amrita Nandamayi Math as a Manager for Durgapur & Kolkata for 3 Years. Then he came to Chennai and started working for Asian Youth Centre ( Japan ) INGO with major focus on rescuing the children under distress and difficult circumstances . Venkat got the Project Childline – 1098 Ministry of Women & Child Development Govt of India and headed as Project Co-ordinator for Kanchipuram Childline and worked for the Organization for 10 Years . His major focus during the Project has been on the issues related to Child Labour , Child Marriage , Child Sexual Abuse , Child Trafficking , Missing Children , Migrant Children & so on . During his working tenure Venkat developed and nurtured several relations within the Govt & Ministrt which has played a huge role in the success of CIF . After extensively working on several Projects for over 21 Years he took an innovative approach to launch a platform and named it CIF , with a sole purpose to provide a platform for people who come from various walks of life , who are in need of some assistance in different fields of work . The Organization also encourage people to discover their missions and life purposes and pushes them to move forward in that direction .
The Foundation focuses on the following core areas generating opportunities for the Youths , providing necessary medical assistance to people who need them . Venkat and his team act as a mediator between people and various service providers by creating a common platform by way of Seminars , Meetings and various conferences. .In sessions like these they invite people from various sections of the Society to discuss on issues of common interest pertaining to the groups participating . These sessions create awareness & also generate action items that are then followed through to reach the desired result .
They intend to make living easier for the needy , advance the aspirations of people who desire to make their life worth living and enable several people get the right aid and assistance as and when required . CIF makes the effort of identifying the skills present in an individual and then polishes it to the required level , so that they may enter into the desired field of work . They believe that every individual is born with some talent and everyone needs to be encouraged to identify & gain knowledge about the hidden quality present in one self . In addition to this CIF appreciates the fact that every life has a purpose & and every individual is born to fulfill that very purpose and hence it is most meaningful to know why we exist and what are we supposed to do on this Earth. With this thought being the backbone Venkat & his team aim to uplift people from the grass root level to an elevated pedestal from where individuals can take charge of their lives . They cater to people from various societal backgrounds without any discriminations and get them under one roof . Being closely networked with several leading NGO’S and other Government Organizations in addition to National & International INGO’S .
Crystal has been successful in changing lives of several people not only in Chennai but also across several states in India .
The team of CIF is comprised of like minded people who want to do good work for the Society . They are trained and inclined to identify people from various Societies and Communities those who are in need of assistance who are keen on taking up different career options for their future growth , people who are in need of medical aid who are facing any form of abuse in the Society . The team helps them transform their conditions by improving on the existing situation and getting the requisite help from Government bodies and other Organizations . They organize various Events such as rallies , health camps , fundraising and generate sponsorship through Corporate Institution Funding .
For his contribution in the Society , Venkat and his work have been recognized with several Awards for example The Glory of India Gold Medal . The Best Citizen of India Award , Rattan Jyoti Gold Award , Rashtriya Nirman Rattan Award by EGSI & several others .
Venkat believe that the World we are all involved with everybody and that several people contributes to the success . At the same time he also believes that being self dependent is the best help that an individual can give himself and self dependence comes through confidence and confidence through knowledge . Creating awareness about individual right in Society , enabling people to overcome hurdles they face when dispute settlement take longer time then required ensuring people are not trapped in bribery , eliminating fear of circumstances & unknown situations among individuals and educating them . Venkat currently works on 6 Models of work Education, Press & Media , Events National & International , Social Work , Hospital & School Building Projects , Film Production here he has left a foot print of his career to shine in his life .
