Bharat Chauhan New Delhi ,BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari and National Spokesperson & MP Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi held a joint Press Conference to expose the false claims of Aam Aadmi Party Government during the last 5 years and on the death of 413 homeless persons in 40 days of the current cold wave in Delhi.
Addressing the media persons, Delhi BJP President Shri Manoj Tiwari said that before coming to power, Arvind Kejriwal had made the incidents of the death of homeless persons in Delhi a big issue and after that he announced to construct shelters for the homeless persons. But even after five years, the situation is that 10 homeless persons have been dying every day during the last 40 days of cold wave in Delhi. It is very shameful that the city in which 10 persons die every day due to lack of proper shelters, the Chief Minister is playing the song “Acche Beete Paanch Saal, Lage Raho Kejriwal”.
During the last one year, 3623 homeless persons died in Delhi but their bodies were not identified. These poor people come to Delhi in search of employment but the Government does not make arrangements for them and die due to scathing cold of Delhi in winter season. What to talk of providing houses to the people of Delhi, this Chief Minister created hindrance in the Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojna meant for providing house to the poor people of Delhi due to political malice.
Not only 90 persons have died due to the negligence of Kejriwal Government in these cold nights, rather some of their dependents have also been murdered. Who is responsible for it? Such Chief Minister should resign on the moral ground for such negligence.
