Skinella’s third edition of its clutter-breaking pageant, Ridhi Kapur as the winner

Bharat Chauhan New Delhi, Our society has created rigid beauty standards and this puts immense pressure on young girls to look a certain way in order to ‘fit in’. This has a detrimental effect on their self-esteem, the effects of which follow them well into adulthood. Against this backdrop, Skinella, India’s leading skincare brand that offers skincare products made with the power of superfoods, hosts Skinderella – a beauty pageant which is an anti-thesis of typical beauty pageants, Skinderella celebrates the realness of girls and encourages them to be the most natural version of themselves.

The grand finale was held at The Eros Shangrila’s, New Delhi and saw a colossal gathering excited to witness the crowning of the most #SuperNaturally beautiful girl of the year. After a segment of entertaining performances, Ridhi Kapur was finally declared the winner of Skinderella 2020. Along with the coveted crown, the winner has received INR 2.5 lakh and a chance to be the face of Skinella for the next year. While the 1st Runner Up Sartia Samatkar received cash prize of INR 1 lakh and the 2nd Runner Up Dorik Garg received cash prize of INR 50, 000

Speaking on the event, Dolly Kumar, Founder and Director of Cosmic Nutracos Solutions Pvt. Ltd., the parent company of  Skinella, said, “We are thrilled to see the massive participation and excitement in this season of Skinderella. We would like to extend our humblest gratitude towards the participants and all those helped make the event a success. This year, Skinderella carried out large-scale on-ground activations to amplify the contest and boost participation. The brand visited 67 colleges across 33 cities including metros such as Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad along with tier 2 cities such as Lucknow, Vadodara, Agra, Pune, and Ranchi, among others. Having visited notable institutions such as Sri Ram College of Commerce, Daulat Ram College, Mithibai College, PES University, Jesus and Mary College, etc. Skinella received over 20,000 registrations for Skinderella 2020.

Along with interfaces at selected colleges, registration was also facilitated through Skinella’s exclusive app available on iOS and Android devices. With such massive participation, it is evident that Skinella has been able to spread ample awareness about the importance of real, natural beauty, helping young girls be confident and achieve their dreams
