Bharat Chauhan New Delhi, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Manoj Tiwari has said that the guarantee cards issued by the AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal are the 10 new lies spoken to the people of Delhi and has asked Chief Minister of Delhi to explain what happened to the 70 promises made in the year 2015 before making 10 more guarantees. There is great difference between making promises and fulfilling them. The Chief Minister of Delhi had made 70 promises to the people of Delhi but when the time came for fulfilling those promises then he is making new promises to mislead the people. One can easily understand the difference between the prophecy and practice of Kejriwal from the fact that he is giving the guarantee card for the works which could not be completed during the last 5 years before issuing the new Manifesto. It clearly shows that Aam Aadmi Party is apprehensive of its defeat in the upcoming Assembly Elections.
Shri Tiwari said that the first guarantee in the card of the Kejriwal is about power. The Chief Minister who has given orders for free supply of 200 units must explain why the power companies have been given orders to supply free electricity till March 2020 only. Kejriwal has also given guarantee of removing the web of loose wires but he must explain why this work was not done during the last five years. Had this work been done earlier then the incidents of fire may not have happened. The guarantor of water supply should also tell at how many places he has been able to supply potable drinking water. The people are demanding drinking water but he has been distributing assurances and guarantee since 2015 and even today he is doing the same thing. The Chief Minister who claims to have made revolutionary changes in education must answer where are those 500 new schools and 20 new colleges? The people who claim to provide free medical care could not improve the Mohalla clinics and the hospitals of Delhi Government during the last five years. He should also explain to the people why he has deprived the people of Delhi from the benefits of the public welfare schemes of Central Government and the Aayushman Bharat Yojna.
Shri Tiwari also said that the Chief Minister who created hindrance in the expansion of Delhi Metro again and again is giving guarantee of providing public transport of international level. On the border areas of Delhi, people have to wait for hours to get DTC buses but the Chief Minister is talking about last mile connectivity. He is also giving guarantee for controlling pollution during the next five years but he compelled the people to breathe toxic air during his five years tenure. On what ground he is giving the guarantee of controlling the pollution during the next five years. Actually pollution has been controlled to some extent due to the efforts of Central Government. Eastern/Western peripheral express way has diverted thousands of trucks entering Delhi which were responsible for pollution. The Chief Minister is also giving guarantee of removing the garbage mountain but during the last five years, he could not do anything. The Municipal Corporations have already installed machines for removing the garbage mountain and these garbage mountains will be removed from Delhi in the near future itself.
