Gyaan Prakash New Delhi, Under the leadership of BJP Mahila Morcha President Smt. Poonam Parashar Jha hundreds of women workers took out March from Delhi Pradesh Office which went to Central Park, Connaught Place and returned through Baba Kharak Singh Marg to the BJP Office where large number of women had assembled in support of Citizenship Amendment Act. National Spokesperson and New Delhi MP Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi addressed this gathering of women. Smt. Raj Bala Chhikara, Smt. Santosh Goel, Smt. Lata Gupta were present on this occasion.
Addressing the women workers, New Delhi MP Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi said that our youth are being misled by creating an atmosphere of confusion. It is our responsibility to apprise them about this law because they are related to our family. In this situation, first of all we should understand this subject only then we can save our children from irresponsible elements. People like me are from such families which are related to those who came in India after 1947 when the country was divided and lakhs of people came to India. Subsequently a third nation was also born namely Bangladesh. Large number of women became victim and they were married by force and also pressurized to convert. The recent incident of Nankana Sahib is not the first incident. Such incidents have been happening for along in Pakistan. After 1947, many people were persecuted who came to India but they did not get the citizenship for years. The people who came to India before 31st December, 2014 have not been brought by BJP because we were in power at that time. These people were not living in a legal way in India and now the Modi Government has brought law to legalize these refugees.
Smt. Meenakshi Lekhi also said that these refugees had no rights of cremation as Hindus. Pakistan and Bangladesh were part of India and hence it was the duty of the Government to give citizenship to these refugees. Nehru Liyakat Pactw as not implement because if people went to India then who will clean the roads of Lahore. 66% of the refugees in India belong to Dalit Community hence CAA is necessary for India. NPR was initiated by the Central Government in the year 2008-09 when Shri P. Chidambaram was the Home Minister. The then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh allotted 350 crores for it. First of all this was to be completed in 2008, second time in 2015 and third time it has to be completed in 2020 but questions are being raised against it by tagging it with CAA. The opposition parties are busy in hatching conspiracy. When Deepika Padukone went for the promotion of her film and faced opposition then she said that it is protest against acid victim.
