Additional measures include:
Mandatory thermal screening and assessment of COVID symptoms. People who may exhibit symptoms are immediately transferred to an isolated Flu Clinic and/or a dedicated COVID hospital designated by the Government.
Only one attendant is allowed with a patient and must compulsorily wear a mask and sanitise their hands before entering the premises.
The hospital staff ensures social distancing between visitors.
Patients who are candidates for elective surgery also have to undergo testing either at the hospital or submit their test reports from any other Government approved facility.
Apart from patients, the hospital is also ensuring the safety of the staff and premises through regular sanitization, usage of PPE, hand hygiene, social distancing, training on recognition of symptoms and triaging of sick patients and other measures as per the Government guidelines.
