12 Year Old Rudraksh Beats elders and Wins Gold in Trap Shooting

Bharat Chauhan New Delhi ,A 12-year-old teenager has beaten the elders in the Delhi State Shooting Championship. Rudraksh Chopra has won the gold medal by breaking 33 claybirds in “trap shooting”, Rohan Sharma got a silver medal by shooting 30 claybirds in this event. So at the same time, Akshaj Dnyaneshwar had to satisfy with the Bronze medal at 29 scores.
Little shooter Rudraksh Chopra told that ”I study in Ramjas School in Seventh class, I have won gold medal here by eight hours of training daily and my father is my coach. My next target is to win gold in National Shooting Championship, and I want to win Olympic gold for the country.
Rudraksh’s father Vineet Chopra has also tried his hand in trap shooting, but he could not succeed. Now he wants to fulfill his dreams by making his son a shooting champion. For this, Vineet Chopra is working hard, as a result of this, in just two months of training, Rudraksha has become the center of attraction of senior shooters.
Rudraksha’s coach and father Vineet Chopra said that my dream was to win the medal for the country by shooting trap, but when my son was twelve years old, the decision changed. I taught him trap shooting, he picked it up very well, in just two months of training, he has won the gold medal in the Delhi State Shooting with 33 scores in the Junior Men category, which is a very good score. He is also fifth in the Senior Men’s category. The next target is to win gold at National shooting and then we have a dream of winning Olympic gold. I tell him about eating, drinking and how much running you have to do daily, if there are more such dedicated children, then we can get pride for the country.
The medal distribution ceremony of the shotgun bouts of the Delhi State Shooting Championship was inaugurated by Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police Devesh Chandra Srivastava by firing two bullets. Syed Hammad Mir, Harshvardhan Mangla, Sanya Singh, Gauri Singh, Subeer Raj Sharma, Kirti Gupta, Mayank Shokeen, Pakhi Sethi, Fahd Sultan, Karnik Raj Sharma, Harpreet Singh Mandla, and Kabir Sharma won gold medals in this competition. Devesh Chandra Srivastava congratulated all the medalists by giving them medals.
Rukman Katyal, Pawan Kumar, Palvi Singh, Yuvraj Kumar Mahajan, Abhijeet Singh, Subodh Katyal, Hemant Singh, Laiba Latif, Adya Tripathi, Soumya Gupta, Vikramaditya Singh, Bhavya Tripathi Won the silver medals in Shotgun trap, skeet and double trap shooting in different events.
Divya Singh, Ashish Jyoti Sharma, Amit Kumar Gupta, Aisha Falak, Rijuraj Singh Jamwal, Jaipreet Singh and Shubham Dhiman won bronze medals in the Delhi State Shooting Competition.
Padmashree Jaspal Rana, chairman of the Delhi State Rifle Association, is currently busy with the shooting World Cup in Brazil, he has sent greetings to all the medal winners through social media. Jaspal Rana congratulated Secretary DSRA Rajiv Sharma, Vice President Shakun Bhugra , Joint Secretary Farid Ali, Treasurer J.S. Marwah, Anupam Kamal, Achal Sehgal, Falak Sher Alam, Samreen Syed, Ishwinderjeet Singh, Gaurav Sarin, Arjun Chandra Maharishi, Rajendra Sharma, Harshneet Marwah and the entire team on the successful conduct of the Delhi State Shooting Championship. Also the officials of this competition Naresh Chaudhary, Neeta Sharma, GD Sharma, Vineet Chopra, Deepak Kumar Dubey, Amit Kumar Koslia, Harnam Singh, Abhishek Vashistha, Vikram Singh, Suresh Bhagat, Akhil Salot, Samina Syed, Loveleen Kaur, Aisha, Yashika Goel, Deepak Suri and office in-charge Ravinder Kumar have also been appreciated.
